League Play: In league play 7th Rangers Rules will be suspended and the league rules will be observed. 7th Rangers who participate in league competitions must be familiar with and willing to accept the responsibility to stay current on all participating league rules, as well as any required league and/or MatchWatch or Reverend player procedures. General rules and conditions governing number of players, use of mods, and skins for competitions will be determined and agreed upon between contestants and within league rules prior to the competition. Specific rules will be governed by the sponsoring league, and where possible web based comments or game set up logs will be used in place of e-mail. Cheating: The 7th Rangers simply will not tolerate cheating. Cheating includes but is not limited to, any alteration of the client side game model, or modifications or additions to the client side "main" folder that is not out-of-the-box, or, a) hasn't been mutually agreed upon, or b) that gives an unfair advantage on an open server. Players found to be using cheats will be banned from the 7th server. We are fully aware and do take into consideration that not all cheat detection's are cheats, so every detection is verified before action is taken. It must be acknowledged however that if a player triggers a cheat detection, and the detection appears to be valid, we have little choice but to kick and/or ban visitors to the server, and unfortunately expel members. Our primary source for detection on the public server is Punkbuster. Punkbuster Scan Compliance: From time to time random scans of players will be taken. Any player scan found to be using a cheat or hack will result in that player being banned from the server. Approved Modifications: No modifications have been approved for use on the CoD4 server except those required for league competition play. Member Conduct: Member =7= tag is to be worn in compliance with the instructions given in the member acceptance email. The use of foul or suggestive language in your game name, in your dialogue in the server, or in the web site forum, accusations of cheating, taunting, team killing, blocking doors, or spaming, is grounds for immediate kick and ban. These rules apply to 7th members and visitors to the 7th server, and especially to 7th members visiting other servers while wearing the 7th tag. The Administrator reserves the right to determine the nature of and to define what constitutes poor conduct. Note that conduct deemed inappropriate is grounds for termination of membership. Ping: Players with pings above 170, or below 10, will be kicked from the server. If you're kicked for high ping, we encourage you to try back later, as conditions that result in high ping may only be temporary. This is not usually the case for low ping as low ping occurs when a player is geographically close to the server, giving that player an unfair advantage over others. Disputes:
All disputes and/or grievances of any kind must be submitted by
e-mail to SCAF 6e, or by posting in the Disputes board of the
members
forum. Disputes are NOT to be discussed or resolved in open forum, or
on the open server.
Kicked and/or Banned: Anyone found in violation of these rules as stated herein is subject to immediate kick and/or ban without notice. Repeat offenders will be banned from the server permanently. Member Expulsion: 7th Rangers clan members may be expelled from the clan for: a) violations of these rules, b) lack of playing time, or c) any status, activity or action that may be interpreted by the Administrator as detrimental to the clan. Appeal Process: Players expelled from the clan or banned from the server for violations of the rules can submit an e-mail appeal to SCAF 6e 6e for review. Decisions on appeal rest solely with and at the discretion of SCAF 6e. Administrator: Reserves the right to alter these rules without notice as needed to preserve the integrity of the clan, its membership, and its guests.
